This Project collages everyday objects such bottle caps, spools , container tops , beads , buttons , and more to ensure the understand that dots can be made in more ways than merely drawing or painting them.

Champleve Enameling Lesson Plan
In this lesson, learners will study the ancient art of enameling, specifically Champleve. They will have an understanding of the process, important terms, and materials. The learner will also create their own “enameled” work by embossing a piece of foil and coloring the shapes made from the raised lines that form the relief. The final result is similar to cold techniques for enameling used today.

Sculpt a Sea Urchin
In this lesson the learn will analyze Dale Chihuly’s sea forms in order to inspire their own work. The Learner will create their own sea urchin sculpture and choose a color scheme to paint their sea urchin and present their artwork to one another for critique.

Welcome To My Hive
The learner will create a honeycomb art inspired by Ava Roth and understanding and appreciation of Ava Roth art. Students will learn to demonstrate knowledge of the artist and skills by creating cardboard honeycombs and create their honeycombs through what they enjoy of person they admire.

Coil Pottery
In this lesson, learners will explore the ancient pottery techniques of the Jomon Japanese tribe, one of the earliest known cultures to create intricate coil pots. Students will gain an understanding of how the Jomon people used hand-building methods to form functional and decorative pottery, often adorned with distinctive rope-like patterns and textured designs.

Kiefer's inspired Trashlandscapes
In this lesson, learners will explore landscapes inspired by Anselm Kiefer, a contemporary artist known for his evocative and textured works that often reflect history, memory, and the passage of time. Students will study Kiefer's use of materials like sand, straw, and paint to create layered, expressive surfaces. Using mixed media, they will create their own landscape compositions, incorporating texture and symbolism to convey emotion and narrative. The lesson encourages students to think beyond traditional landscape painting by experimenting with unconventional materials and techniques. Through this process, learners will develop an appreciation for Kiefer's unique approach and how landscapes can tell profound, personal stories.

Oil Pastels
In this lesson, learners will create vibrant oil pastel landscapes inspired by the works of Vincent van Gogh. They will study Van Gogh’s expressive brushstrokes, bold use of color, and emotional approach to depicting nature. Using oil pastels, students will experiment with blending, layering, and creating texture to emulate Van Gogh's dynamic style. They will focus on capturing movement and mood in their landscapes, drawing inspiration from works like The Starry Night or Wheatfield with Cypresses. This lesson encourages students to explore their creativity while developing techniques to bring energy and life to their artwork. By the end, learners will have a deeper appreciation for Van Gogh’s legacy and the expressive potential of landscapes.
